Reigning Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris has signed a multi-year contract extension with McLaren, securing his seat with the team until at least the end of 2030. The agreement adds at least three seasons to his previous deal, which ran through 2027, and includes a multi-year option to extend further.
The announcement establishes structural stability for McLaren’s driver roster through the end of the decade. Teammate Oscar Piastri is under contract until at least the end of 2028, locking in the team's core engineering and driver lineup following similar long-term moves across the grid, including Max Verstappen’s extension with Red Bull through 2030.

Norris, 26, has spent his entire Formula 1 career with McLaren after debuting as a 19-year-old in 2019. Over eight seasons, he has established several milestones with the British constructor:
