The final Liga Super 2026/27 field contains 12 clubs. An earlier provisional list circulating before the MFL decision was incorrect; this is the confirmed competition list.
All 12 Liga Super clubs
- Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT)
- Kuching City FC
- Selangor FC
- Kuala Lumpur City FC
- Terengganu FC
- Star City FC (formerly Imigresen FC)
- Negeri Sembilan FC
- Penang FC
- Sabah FC
- DPMM FC
- Melaka FC
- Kelantan Red Warrior FC
Why PDRM is not included
PDRM formally withdrew to focus on restructuring its club management. The MFL then confirmed Kelantan Red Warrior, which had completed the relevant financial documentation, for the available place.
Was UM-Damansara promoted?
No. UM-Damansara United was among the Liga A1 clubs considered through the extraordinary licensing route, but Kelantan Red Warrior was selected and the final league remained at 12 clubs.

What changed from the provisional list?
The July process left one position dependent on PDRM's status. After the withdrawal, Kelantan Red Warrior filled that position; the competition did not expand. Star City is the club previously known as Imigresen FC, so older schedules or search results may show the former name.
How to compare the 12 clubs
Use the table only after checking matches played. Points, goal difference and home-away form give more context than rank alone, especially when fixture changes create games in hand. Each club faces the other 11 twice across 22 rounds.
